The Rose Tree Method - Face
I've created The Rose Tree Method for you.
Softer, nourished, more comfortable skin. More feeling good, irrespective of age. Less anti-ageing. Less of the 20 step routine no one ever has time for. Less of the empty promises & made up science words.
The Rose Tree Skincare Method - Morning
Step 1 - Cleanse
Cleansing is where it starts.
Our cult Carrot & Mango Cleansing Butter gets skin clean skin, without any tightness or stinging. It's perfect for all skin types, and removes all makeup.
Massage into dry skin gently, before removing with a muslin cloth wrung though with hand hot water.
Simple, fast and effective. We like to finish with a splash of cold water before moving onto the next step.
If you are absolutely wedded to a wash off product, try our Apricot Geranium Cleansing Bar with organic almond and apricot oils. It's perfect to use in the shower, it's gentle enough for use on the face but equally effective as a shower gel alternative. It is very gentle and won't strip your skin like many foaming type products.
Step 2 - Hydrate
Feed your skin, with the best face oil serum for you.
For skin that is dry, menopausal, or mature pick my Rose & Blackcurrant essence serum. It's all about nourishing your skin, without any heavy, oily feeling.
For skin that is prone to oiliness, breakouts or rosacea, or just a little finicky, pick Rose & Marula. Think plumped up, cushiony, comfortable skin. It helps keep breakouts under control. It's perfect for soothing red-ness.
Start with 2-3 drops and gently massage into your face and décolletage, with gentle, upward movements.
If you can spare a few extra moments, the action of gently massaging the skin gives it a lifting and circulation boosting treatment. Follow with your favourite SPF or layer under makeup, or blend with foundation for sheer, soft coverage.
Step 3 - Treat
Add into the mix game changing hydration boosters.
For gentle hydrating try our rich moisturising Radiance Cream with luxurious rose & frankincense. It is packed with the best natural oils and butters to give your skin everything it needs to feel comfortable and look its best.
Our hydrating balm, Intensive Balm with Marshmallow & Frangipani is a decadently scented waterless balm, perfect to nourish, moisturise and repair skin. Rich but with a fast absorbing, velvety texture, only the smallest amount is needed.
Good for dry, parched skin, and for brightening skin. Our most loved balm, winner of 11 industry awards.
For skin that feels a little grey and tired, our new Pomegranate & Rose Mask is all about leaving skin feeling soft and comforted and giving you the confidence to enjoy how you look, irrespective of age.
This pillowy, oil gel mask, plumps, softens and comforts. It makes a great quick fix, applying and removing with a cloth wrung though with hand hot water, or our favourite, leave it on as an overnight mask and give your skin a deep drink.
Skincare for your Eyes - our Eye Serum with Rose & Starflower, is particularly good for those annoying fine lines, or if your eyes get dry and itchy. It's an oil based serum with organic rosehip oil and arnica oil which helps with any puffiness and dark circles.
You need only the tiniest amount, literally start with a single drop which and apply with the ring finger, and can be used day or night. We prefer to apply at night after cleansing.
The Rose Tree Skincare Method - Evening
The Evening Method is similar to the Day Method. The difference is that you can take a few extra moments to pamper and de-stress before drifting off to sleep.Step 1 - Cleanse
At the end of your day, use my Carrot & Mango Cleansing Butter to remove all residue and stresses from the day.
The very action of massaging the Butter into your tired skin, will help relax your facial muscles as well as removing makeup and dirt.
If I've been wearing waterproof eye make up I like to cleanse around my eyes first, returning to my eyes so I don't spread makeup and smudged mascara all over my face.
Double Cleansing?
If you're a fan of a double cleanse, finish off with my Apricot & Geranium Cleansing Bar. There's no right or wrong way, this is about what works for you and what your skin likes.
Step 2 - Hydration Layer
While you drift off to sleep your skin is about to go into overdrive, working hard to restore and rebuild. More of that here. That means feeding your skin is important.
Start with your Facial Essence selection taking the time to gently massage the oil in your face and décolletage, using gentle upward movements.
You don't need to spend 20 minutes doing this - 20 seconds will work, and your skin will thank you. And it is stress busting and will help you sleep better.
Step 3 - Nurture, Plump, Treat
You might be OK to leave it there, especially if your skin is oily. Oily skin may feel like a curse but really you’re lucky - it means less lines and wrinkles compared to those of us with dry, thirsty skin.
For most of us, especially as we get older the more hydration the better.
Pick your weapon of choice, either my Radiance Cream with Rose and Frankincense or my Intensive Balm depending on your preference.
Both are good and will stop you waking up with dry, tight papery skin. Plus you get the benefits of those lovely essential oils which can help sooth a tired mind before drifting off to sleep.
Or go the whole hog, and apply my new and shiny Pomegranate & Rose Mask. It is the perfect overnight dry skin saviour. Apply and head off to bed! Come the morning, super soft, comfortable skin!
Skincare for your Eyes
Finishing with an eye treatment. My Rejuvenating Eye Serum with Rose & Starflower, is particularly good for those annoying fine lines, or if your eyes get dry and itchy.
It's an oil based serum with organic rosehip oil and arnica oil which helps with any puffiness.
You only the tiniest amount, literally a drop off the end of the pipette which I apply with my ring finger.
Ok you're done. See, quick and simple.

A good night's sleep makes all the difference. That feeling you get when you're ready to take on the world. Versus feeling like a person you don't recognise swinging between tears and overwhelm. There's no magic bullet, but these help me and could help you too.
I like to bathe swathed in beautifully scented warm water if humanly possible. It's my personal signal that I am done with the day and ready to switch off.
Studies have shown that by raising your body temperature with a warm bath and allowing it to cool, can help induce a peaceful night's sleep.
Try our Soothing Aromatherapy Bath Oil with Geranium, Cypress and Lavender, the aromatherapy blend has a luxe, relaxing scent to help relax your mind and senses.
No time?
For a quick aromatherapy sleep boosting trick, try my Soothing Aromatherapy Roller Ball. Designed to soothe you when you need it most.
Apply to pulse points, or cupped hands, (you pick!), breathe in slowly and feel the blissful aromatic blend do its stuff.
My final tip is to treat your hands before bed with my blissful aromatherapy hand balm, it transforms dry, tired hands and soothes your mind. After applying, cup your hands and breathe in the aromatic blend, it will calm your mind and help you drift off into sleep.
