Our Soothing Body Oil is a luxurious aromatherapy body oil made with geranium, cypress and lavender flower oils, designed to smooth, soften and nurture the skin - without leaving you oily.  

It is made with the best natural plant oils and is designed to be a truly, luxurious scented bath.

This includes organic apricot, jojoba, argan and calendula infused sunflower oil to condition skin,  and the aromatherapy oils specifically for their calming properties.

It's hand made to ensure second to none quality and we blend the apricot, sunflower and calendula with tiny amounts of pure essential oils for their scent and therapeutic benefits.

Apricot Oil (Organic)

Gentle and penetrating, apricot oil from the kernal of the apricot fruit is a light oil suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.

Argan Oil (Organic)

Our pure, cold pressed Argan Oil is rich in inflammation busting Essential Fatty Acids and has anti-ageing and skin improving properties; being suitable for both dry and oily, skin types.  It is sebum regulating and can help with acne prone skin.

 

Calendula Flower Extract

Calendula is one of those British herbs that has been throughout history as a remedy for all sorts of skin aliments, and is believed to have restorative and regenerative powers on the skin.  Particularly good for sensitive skin.

Cypress Oil

The green, woody scent of this evergreen lends a beautiful verdant scent to our luxurious Oil, and helps balance oily and dehydrated skins.

Geranium Oil

A rosy, sweet smelling balancing oil, suitable for all skin types. Geranium creates a sense of security and comfort, having uplifting and refreshing qualities.

Jojoba Oil (Organic)

An easily absorbed, light oil, very similar to the sebum found in our own skin, and so suitable for all skin types, including problem, oily and combination skins.

 Lavender Oil (Organic)

One of the most well known oils, used for centuries in bathing rituals and skincare, and coming from Latin, lavare,  meaning to bathe.  Balancing and stimulating at the same time, lavender is also antiseptic, and anti-vital while having a toning action on the skin.

Safflower Oil (Organic)

A beautifully  light textured oil  which has  nourishing and smoothing properties.  It will not block the pores on your skin and so is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin.

Sunflower Oil

Antioxidant rich sunflower seed oil is packed full of beta carotene which is thought to help with the signs of ageing. It is also helpful for inflamed, sensitive and acne prone skin.

Vitamin E

A classic antioxidant, vitamin E is derived from many fruit and vegetables and is known to protect against cell damaging free radicals and with the appearance of stretch marks, lines and wrinkles.

Ylang Ylang (Organic) 

An intensively sweet, exotic scent, the name Ylang Ylang means 'flower of flowers'.  The bright yellow flowers are hand picked early in the day before the sun destroys its delicate blooms.  Ylang Ylang has aphrodisiac properties and is often use to lift the spirits in times of stress.

The Soothing Body Oil with Geranium, Cypress and Lavender has a glorious herbaceous lavender scent.

 Along side organic apricot, jojoba, argan and calendula infused sunflower oil to condition skin,  this body oil contains generous amounts of lavender, herbaceous cypress, and geranium flower oils.

Together these give the most beautiful floral aroma. 

We have selected these aromatherapy oils specifically for their soothing properties.

All our aromatherapy scents come from pure essential oils with no artificial fragrances.

Smooth into skin to hydrate and scent. For a fast application that won't leave your clothes greasy apply straight out of the shower to wet skin. For deeper hydration, apply to dry skin all over or just on any dry areas. For a spot of glow on an evening out, I recommend sweeping a little body oil over areas you want to accentuate - your décolletage, or shoulders in a summer dress. As well as softer skin his will help to give a subtle glow to the skin, and a beautiful skin feel.

The 100ml bottle will last 3-4 months on average. The 30ml size will last up to 1 month. All of our Rose Tree products contain high concentrations of plant oils and extracts so less product is needed.

I'm Olga, a plant obsessed 50ish woman based in Devon.

I got so fed up with the beauty products being offered to me:

Soothing body oil

Used the lovely body oil after a shower. It moisturized my whole body beautifully. A little goes a long way. The scent of the Geranium, Cypress and Lavender oil was comforting and not overpowering.
Would definitely recommend this product.
